Background
Caddick Group and James Glancy Design are in the early stages of preparing plans for 16-28 Penarth Street by providing a modern, industrial employment space as well as residential co-living to meet residents needs and support the local economy.
16-28 Penarth Street vision:
- To re-provide and upgrade all of the existing industrial employment space
- To design new modern, purpose-built space for James Glancy Design to meet the businesses future needs
- To make the most efficient use of a brownfield site by introducing affordable housing and residential co-living to the upper storeys
- To re-animate quiet, socially inactive streets creating new high quality street frontages, providing new entrances, occupants and activity
- Sharing green open podium amenity spaces, lounges and meeting spaces with both residents and workers from the industrial spaces on the site
- To provide a new publicly accessible café space.

Some of their most well known work is for the decoration of Regents Street in central London over the Christmas period. James Glancy Design are committed to the retention of employment space for light industrial and small businesses.
