Our Proposals
Regeneration
We are bringing the first major development to the aspirational Design and Tech Quarter, with our proposals transforming the two underutilised sites at the western gateway to the Nine Elms Opportunity Area.
Commercial Space
Our development will provide c.15,000sqm of exemplary light industrial and office floorspace for a variety of tenants. Interiors are proposed to be technology driven – incorporating touchless operations and smart building technology including sanitation, cleaning protocols and natural ventilation.
Affordable/Managed Workspace
Our development is expected to deliver a minimum of 10% of the gross economic floorspace either as managed workspace or to be leased at an affordable rent.
Public Realm
Our development will improve the local public realm and make improvements to the adjoining footpaths, street lighting, cycle paths, on-street disabled parking, and on-street electric vehicle charging points.
Our vision for 16 & 38-48 Havelock Terrace.
Architecture
Our development will be of the highest design quality, both internally and externally, and designed by multi-award- winning practice and BCO member 5Plus Architects. We will replace tired and dilapidated structures which make poor use of this prime emerging location.
Sustainability
The proposals seek to deliver a highly sustainable, car free development, achieving Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) targets.
Enterprise/Business Community Space - ‘The Hub’
The Design and Tech Quarter will include ‘hubs’, that we intended to be used as multi-functional spaces that will support employment uses by providing socialising, networking and marketing spaces. These hubs may also be suitable for cultural activities such as spaces for cafés/ restaurants/bars, product launches, promotional events, live music, and further performances.
Our vision for 16 & 38-48 Havelock Terrace.
The developers are proposing a new development that will secure the regeneration of two sites at the western gateway to the Nine Elms Opportunity Area, bringing this underutilised area into better use.
38-48 Havelock Terrace has an existing planning approval to build a commercial building, and our proposals will contribute towards the aspirations of Battersea's Design and Tech Quarter.
