Welcome you to the construction website for 362 – 364 Wandsworth Bridge Road, known as Hurlingham Retail Park.

Rockwell is an experienced developer with a proven track record, delivering mixed-use schemes in Kensington, Battersea, Elephant & Castle and Tower Hamlets.

As the new owner of the Hurlingham Retail Park, Rockwell are pleased to confirm that they will be implementing the existing permission to deliver 269 new homes and new commercial space that will deliver a range of food, retail and leisure uses.

Rockwell prides themselves on their work with communities as a developer. As part of this commitment, we will be hosting a series of residents’ meetings throughout the construction process to update you on the plans and provide information on upcoming construction works.

The site

The site is located directly to the west of Wandsworth Bridge and is bordered by Carnwath Road to the north, the Carnwath Road Industrial Estate to the west and the River Thames to the south.

The existing site is dominated by the large Currys/PC World superstore, which is divided into two bays, facing eastwards directly onto a surface car park.

The plans

The plans will deliver 269 new homes, new retail and commercial space for businesses, employment and training opportunities during and after construction, a highly sustainable scheme that will make the most of a previously developed brownfield site and provision for cycling and sustainable transport.

Site activities week beginning Monday 1st May

• Continue to remove obstructions ahead of piling.
• Continue levelling the site for piling.
• Relocate stockpiled materials on site ahead of removal, which will include removal by barge.
• Resume crushing on site for the last remaining elements.
• Carry out soil remediation on the site.

Following our last meeting with Carnwath Road Residents Group (CRRG) on 4th April, we are pleased to report that there have been no breaches on the noise or dust monitors. CRRG will be hosting a residents meeting on Thursday 11th May at 6:30pm at the Sands Ends Community Arts Centre on Peterborough Road.
